Admission Process

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

“Fab-Art” College for Fashion Design is a co-ed institution. Any one of any age group can enroll.
To take admissions to any Degree, Diploma or Certificate program offered by “FAB-ART” College for Fashion Design, please follow the following procedure:


PROCEDURE 1 : “WALK-IN” PROCEDURE
  • Prospective students can walk in directly to the main office, get the details and seek the help of the counselors.
  • Purchase the application form from the front office.
  • Duly filled form should be submitted along with necessary supporting documents and two passport size photographs.
  • Fees payment can be done either by cash/ cheque on the same date.
  • This confirms the enrollment procedure. Students are personally informed about the date of commencement of their course.

PROCEDURE 2 : “REGISTER – ONLINE” PROCEDURE
  • Prospective students can get information regarding their choice of program either by calling up our counselors or from our website.
  • Simply click the Application Form and fill all the mandatory fields. After filling all the fields, just click on Save Button & save your filled application form on your system.
  • You can download the form by clicking on Download option. The form is available in pdf format. The student should complete the form and save the same on your system.
  • Please scan all the necessary supporting documents mentioned below.
  • Supporting documents required: Scanned copy of the applicant’s class X marks-sheet, class XII marks-sheet & a digital photograph. If the class XII result has just been declared & the marks-sheet is not available, please send a computer print-out of the result.
  • You can send the filled application form through email it at director@fabart.co.in along with the supporting documents. You can also submit physically on admission counter at the “FAB-ART” Campus.
  • Upon receiving the documents, the admission committee will issue you an admission letter.
  • After receiving the admission letter the applicant has to deposit the necessary tuition & fees which is stated in the admission letter within one week to confirm his/her admission.
  • This confirms the online enrollment procedure . Students are personally informed about the date of commencement of their course.

Rules and Regulations

1. The student must read and understand the contents of the prospectus and supplementary information provided fully. Thereafter he/she must seek admission on his/her interest and will.

2. The admission to the courses shall be on first-come first-served basis only. If any student defaults in the payment, his/her name would be struck off from the rolls without notice and/or assigning any reason whatsoever. Any delay in payments of installments, will invite a punitive action/fine as decides by the management. Students are advised to retain their fees’ receipts until the end of the course and produce the same on demand.

3. Students once enrolled shall not be liable for fees refund under any circumstances.

4. Application Fee, Enrollment Fee, Examination fees, Practical Fee, Library fees, Transportation fee or any other fees-are exclusive of the tuition fees, which shall be prescribed by the management separately. Fees for the courses are payable in lump sum or in installments at the time of admission. Students can borrow library books or any other material on payment of additional security deposit only.

5. Students should carry their college identity card and produce the same whenever demanded by the college authorities.

6. Students are expected to wear decent attire. All students are expected to observe the dress code regulations strictly.

7. Professional behaviour is expected of all students. Any act of misbehaviour or indiscipline will attract stringent disciplinary action.

8. Smoking/Consumption of alcohol and usage of mobile phones is strictly prohibited within the premises. Any damage caused to the property of the institution must be made good by the concerned student. Management is not responsible for any loss of articles/valuables.

9. Ragging, teasing, misbehaving, throwing waste papers, defacing the walls and committing any other nuisance within the premises is strictly prohibited and punishable.

10. Any breach of code of conduct and discipline will entail punishment such as suspension from the institution, restriction on recommendation, depending on the seriousness of the indiscipline as determined by the authorities. The decision of the management is final and binding in this regard.

11. Students must note that all information about the courses and any other communication to the students will be communicated through notifications displayed on notice board and no individual communication will be sent.

12. The institution shall have the right to change the time, schedules, syllabus, fees etc, at any time. The institution shall not take any responsibility for unavoidable delay in completing the courses.

13. A minimum requirement of 80% attendance in both theory and practical is essential for enabling the students to appear for the final examination. Failed students are required to pay re-exam fees and the relevant marks card will contain supplementary remark. Students who have discontinued and intend to seek admission once again for the same course, shall pay the fees applicable at that time.

14. Students intending to appear for re-examination may do so with the permission of the principal/ Secretary by payment of additional examination fees as may be prescribed by the management at that point of time. Seeking change from one course to another is not permissible.

15. Students suffering from contagious diseases will not be allowed to attend classes and appear for the examination unless they obtain medical fitness certificate from a recognized medical practitioner.

16. Reprisals/disputes if any, shall be addressed to the principal/Secretary only, who shall be responsible to attend to all such matters.

17. Candidates expelled from any other Institute or dismissed from Government service on disciplinary grounds and those who are known to have been involved in acts of crime and gross indiscipline or misbehaviour will not be eligible for admission.

18. The medium of examination shall be either Hindi or English for all the courses as opted.

19. The candidate seeking admission to various courses will only be considered if no criminal case is pending against him/her. Those, involved in criminal cases will not be considered for admission. The Institute may approach the police for verification in this regard.

20. Admission will be granted to the candidates at their own risk and responsibility as per details furnished by them. If, at any time, it is noticed that the admission has been obtained by giving incorrect or false information or concealing information or oversight, the admission granted will be cancelled and the candidate shall be asked to leave the Institute.

  • Copy of the 10th Mark sheet.
  • Copy of 10+2 Mark sheet.
  • Copy of the Mark sheets of the last qualifying examination i.e. graduation or any other course. (if any)
  • Four recent passport size photographs.
  • Original Transfer Certificate & Migration certificate.
  • Copy of Aadhar Card.
  • Caste Certificate. (if applicable)

  • Eligibility & Documents required for Diploma Course


  • Those who have passed or who have appeared for (10+2) or equivalent examination of any recognized Central / State Board of Secondary Examination.             (Result awaiting students can also apply).
  • Copy of the 10th Mark sheet.
  • Copy of 10+2 Mark sheet.
  • Copy of the Mark sheets of the last qualifying examination i.e. graduation or any other course. (if any)
  • Four recent passport size photographs.
  • Copy of Aadhar Card.

  • Eligibility & Documents required for Certificate Course


  • Those who have passed or who have appeared for (10+2) or equivalent examination of any recognized Central / State Board of Secondary Examination.             (Result awaiting students can also apply).
  • Copy of the 10th Mark sheet.
  • Copy of 10+2 Mark sheet.
  • Copy of the Mark sheets of the last qualifying examination i.e. graduation or any other course. (if any)
  • Four recent passport size photographs.
  • Copy of Aadhar Card.
  • Caste Certificate. (if applicable)

  • Fee-

    Tuition Fees & Registration Fees once deposited will not be refunded. (Only condition when refund is possible is when the student fails his/her 12th board exam)

    Fees deadlines & late fees fines may vary depending upon the rules & regulation of the college at the time of payment of fees.

    Any material cost depending upon the semester syllabus would be borne by the student.
